Finishing Fashion Week with a bang (and a half!), this season’s Shibuya Fashion Festival was a-flippin’-mazing.

Previous events have suffered in the rain, but thankfully this time the fashion Gods were smiling and the skies stayed clear – phew! Mikio Sakabe, Jenny Fax, Banal Chic Bizarre and Writtenafterwards showed their latest collections, as well as live painting, rock climbing, stamp rallies and more… Plus a special styling stage from the department store Parco. I think I need a week just to recover.

Jenny Fax (can’t wait to write about this!)

Ari from The Virgin Mary’s wonderful wonderland.

Banal Chic Bizarre in the perfect setting – on a gritty bridge in the middle of Shibuya.

We had so much fun tweeting (user: @tokyo_telephone), instagramming (is it a verb now?) (user: tokyotelephone) and taking photos  and short movies that both our phones ran out of battery and Samuel completely filled the huge memory card in the camera – I don’t think there’s a better indication than that.

Look out for our full reports on the main Tokyo Telephone site, as well as in the Japan Times newspaper.
